About Me

What Are the Building Blocks of Proteins:
Proteins are composed of amino acids, which are the fundamental building blocks. There are 20 different amino acids that can be combined in various sequences to form diverse proteins. Each amino acid has a specific structure and characteristic properties. They are linked together through peptide bonds to create long chains, known as polypeptides, which then fold into complex three-dimensional structures to fulfill their specific functions in the body. The arrangement and order of these amino acids determine the unique structure and function of each protein.
